C: Tiger Lily swam over to a mass of brown hair and grabbed a lock of it before it hit the slushy sand on the ocean floor, hooking her arms under its arms and swimming it to shore. Slowly, the Indian draped it on the beach and brushed away the hair. Peter hovered above her, chuckling, “There is a face in that hair! The It opened eyes like leaves, wide, bright green, and shocked. Tiger Lily cocked her head and slipped her hand onto her dagger, just in case. “How’d you get here?” It didn’t speak, but let its jaw drop. Peter laughed. “Are you a codfish?”
M: She rubbed her head. “Oh, don’t be cocky, boy,” she croaked, coughing up seawater. She looked at Tiger Lily. “Thank you for saving me,” and suddenly her eyes brightened. “Am I in…Neverland??? I mean, I never thought this place existed, but wow…” She stopped and looked at Peter, seeming to take in every piece of him. “I imagined you to be a little different, but you-“ her gaze shifted back to Tiger Lily “-you look exactly the way I thought you’d be.” She jumped up. “I’m Sarah, by the way.” She peered around. “So, where do the faeries live?”
C: Peter gave her a skeptical look. “Pardon me, but brimstone and gall, how did you get here? I mean, you’re a girl, but I didn’t invite you. I always invite the girls.” Tiger Lily gave him a wary look. “That’s the problem.” Sarah, who had always admired Tiger Lily from the book, copied, “Yes. Such a playboy. And you’re not even that hot.” Peter Pan’s eyes flashed gold angrily, and he whipped out his sword with a silvery whistle. He might have slit her throat if Tiger Lily hadn’t already had her pinned. She glared into Sarah’s petrified forest-green eyes. Tiger Lily touched the blue handprint on her chin, then marked one strike on Sarah’s nack. “Consider this a first offense. You have 3 strikes. No one insults Peter but me.” Sarah gulped. “Got it,” She whispered as Tiger Lily stood next to Peter. “You guys are tall. How old are you?” The two shrugged at each other. “You look 15. I thought you weren’t supposed to grow up.” Peter looked crushed. “We can’t stop it anymore.” Tiger Lily kissed him on the cheek. “Come one, Peter. It’s late.” She led him to the little house and lay him on the floor, curling up beside him. Peter stroked her inky hair gently and Sarah frowned. “Hey,” she grumbled, pointing at Tiger Lily, who’d fallen asleep already, “Where do I sleep?” Peter smirked. “Outside.”
M: Sarah sighed and said, “You people are so protective.” With that, she walked away grinning to the home underground, remembering the directions from the book. Oh, how it paid to listen to details. She looked around and finally deciding on Tootles’ tree for an entrance, sliding into a hollow. She found herself startled at how fast she went down- it was a bit big. Sarah landed with a loud thunk, followed by an “Ow!” She rubbed her behind and looked around the room. She blushed when she saw a boy (an attractive boy!) staring at her, and she immediately became rigid. The boy began to turn pink, which didn’t really go well with his fiery red hair. “Hi,” Sarah managed to squeak.
C: Jane grew tired of waiting for Peter and so she made her way to her mother’s old house in the woods to sleep. She walked inside to find Peter curled up on the floor- with a savage! The girl had dark-brown hair, a tanned complexion, pert nose, long eyelashes, full lips, and lots of makeup. “Good god.” Jane remarked with a glance at the red band around her eyes and the blue handprint on her chin. She was infuriated. “You shrew!”
